Job Purpose: 

To be responsible for the sales, administration and delivery associated with supply and material-only products.


Responsibilities and duties for the role will include:

  • Triage and process supply/material-only orders and projects
  • Track and monitor order status and provide accurate and timely customer updates
  • Updating budgets and work orders in NAV for supply-only projects and completing monthly variance and project completion reports
  • Presenting the current status of all supply-only projects in the weekly operations meeting
  • Preparing proposals within the quote for supply/material-only projects, and maintaining up to date records within the CRM system
  • Preparing sales orders for all supply/material-only projects by winning projects on the CRM, preparing the handover file and updating NAV accordingly
  • Liaising with supply/material-only customers from receipt of order to project delivery
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure supply/material-only projects are completed successfully including Production, Logistics, Operations and Finance
  • Following up with customers/resellers to ensure that all quoted projects are accurate and up to date on the CRM sales pipeline
  • Raising invoices and credit notes for supply/material-only projects
  • Sending out confirmation emails to supply-only customers and managing any aftersales feedback
  • Initiating the handover process for construction projects for salespeople who are not office-based by preparing the handover file and passing it to the rest of the Operations team.

Key Attributes / Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate effectively and liaise with clients and Sales, Finance, Production and Logistics
  • A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Strong organisation skills
  • A friendly, outgoing nature – must enjoy communicating with customers on the phone
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of a CRM or similar system (essential)
  • A working understanding of our ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics Navision (desirable)
  • One or more European languages; ideally German, French, Spanish, Italian (desirable)
